Sharia Law - A mysogynistic trip back to the dark ages. :(

As a liberated, strong female who is living testimony of the blood, sweat and tears of the following ladies (see footnote below), I am fucked if I am about to piss all that down the river because of some fuckwit Sharia Law.

I mean what the fuck???

1.       A Muslim man can marry who he wants (albeit atheist, agnostic or polytheist) but a Muslim woman can only marry a ‘Muslim’ man?

This misogynistic shit sets the ascent of woman back hundreds of years.
How convenient that it fails to recognise and acknowledge that it was not until the appreciation of women that things actually started to move intellectually forward in society?

2.       The minimum age of marriage for a Muslim girl is 9. For a male it is 12. The girl’s father/guardian may arrange the marriage of the girl, without her consent, before she reaches adulthood.

In the UK, and in a progressive society, this is called Child Abuse.

3.       An adult man can marry four women but a woman can only marry one man.

????? – Er, I don’t think so.

4.       A man can divorce his wife without reason. The only reasons a woman can divorce is either if her husband is impotent, missing or biologically related to her.

Nothing about subjugation, slavery, abuse or genital mutilation then?

Crime & Punishment:

1.       It is more offensive to insult the notion of ‘Allah’ than it is to murder, bodily injure or cause damage to someone’s property.

2.       Theft is punished by decapitation. Regardless of the circumstances than led to the thief to steal.

3.       ‘Zina’  - having illicit relations is punishable by 100 lashings and stoning to death.

4.       ‘Apostasy’ – Failing to believe in Islam in the way ‘they’ want you to believe it - Punishable by death.

Listen, I open my arms to people in need but I will stand up and fight to my last breath against any fucker having these perverted, twisted intentions against me or anyone I love.

Emily didn’t throw herself under a horse for nowt and I ain’t gonna let any misogynistic regime piss all over her good intentions not one bit.

Please, please educate and nourish yourselves with the endeavoured experiences of the following amazing ladies... Mughal Empress Nur Jahan, Margaret Sanger, Alexandra Kollonta, Charlotte Maxeke, Christine de Piza, Emily Davies, Laura Bassi, Lucretia Mott, Manuela Sáenz.. to name but yet a small few.

The not so pretty picture of globalisation

When I was a student, I once had to write a thesis on Globalisation.

It didn’t mention slave labour, cruelty against humanity, governmental and commercial corruption, the sword-wielding hands of the IMF and the World Bank, the raping and exploitation of people’s countries, the capitalistic destruction of indigenous communities, the genocide of people for no good reason other than folklore and the ability to move shit, hide shit and dump shit on others on a global magnitude.

‘Globalisation’ reinforced the illusion that networking with others was a positive thing.
We would all exchange goods and services in a free market, we would all prosper and we would all grow as a well nourished people-focused society.

This ideology was sold to us on a gigantean scale because it was marketable and seductive.
We could all achieve comfort and live well because we were drip-fed ‘pats on the back’ to relieve our social conscience because ‘we were helping others in deprived countries.’

Bullshit.

Our capitalistic greed for material objects has destroyed everything and everyone.

We’ve completely lost focus of what’s important and we’ve trampled on every fucking thing and everyone in our mission to do what we’ve been told is right for the ego.

The only people who prosper are the people at the top of the hierarchy.

The ones who don’t live the lives we lead, the ones who don’t sweat the blood and tears we do and the ones who have no conception of just what our lives are about.

The very same people who exploit your good conscience and shit on it.

A budget for working people - NOT

‘No-one earning a living wage will pay tax on their earnings’ George Osborne, July 2015

New Tax Allowance - £11,000 / 12 = £916 pm. (£211 pw) = tax free earnings.

But yet implement the new living wage of £7.20 ph x 37.5 hrs = £270 pw (£54 to be taxed).
And then when it increases to £9.00 ph x 37.5 = £337.50 pw (which leaves £126.50 taxable).

Sorry George but you need to go back and look at your figures.

Oh, and Road Tax now to directly fund road renewal???

What the hell happened to all the money paid in before then?

‘A budget for working people?’

Well, I’m self employed and thanks to your extremely ill-thought out tax credit cuts, I will be working for £5k less a year now.

‘We’re all in it together.’

Yeah, like fuck we are.

5 Reasons why people don’t like your updates on Facebook.

1)      They don’t like you. So, by not liking your updates, they get to make a subliminal but incredibly active demonstration of that. Go collective ostracisation, yay.

2)      They haven’t got the same sense of humour.  (No point putting any clever comments there then).

3)      They’re offended by your comments but won’t admit it publicly or open any challenging dialogue and debate intelligently about it.

4)      They’re bubbling with jealousy.  Why don’t they get the gorgeous fantastic bloke, the amazing family, the opulent house, the executive car, the diamond ring, the celebrity friends, the exotic holidays abroad, the clothes and the shoes?? . . . Reality check. No fucker does.  It’s all a cleverly remastered, finely edited, photo-shopped mirage to make silly fuckers like you envious of that illusion.

5)      They don’t know what to say to you. They can’t really ‘like’ the fact that you’re getting a divorce, your cat died or something equally as sad.  They can’t celebrate something you’ve done or said because some people just don’t know how to articulate their feelings to others. Others plainly just don’t want to.

They just simply want to nosey.

On the shelf for bloody good reason

Some people might say that I’m a cold bitch when it comes to fellas but I’m well within my rights to be, considering the back story.

I was raised as ‘inherited’ baggage by a man who couldn’t stand the sight of me and whose surname, as much as I hate, I have been unable to shed ever since.

My relationship history consists of only three fellas - each one now a distant, painful memory of a Sexually Transmitted Disease.   Each relationship ironing out a crease that only a lifetime of dysfunctional ‘paternal’ conditioning could have ever initially created.

Is no wonder I have developed fighting talk, special combat moves and general dislike for men as potential boyfriend/father to twin children material.  Is also incredibly surprising that most of my ex’s aren’t already pushing up daisies from underneath the patio.

I fell in love with my first boyfriend (because I didn’t know better), I rebelled with my second (because I should have known better) and I got slammed back down into the real world with my third fella (because I was soon to know better!)

Each experience, despite how frightening, soul-destroying, demeaning, demoralising and challenging they were, equally taught me one valuable universal lesson.

Me and penis’s are absolutely no good together.
